Nestled in Arizona’s San Pedro River Valley, Sleeping Frog Farms is a diversified small farm dedicated to stewarding the land and growing nutrient-dense food the way nature intended. Every crop is grown using water from the San Pedro watershed and cultivated in sandy, mineral-rich soil without a single chemical or synthetic pesticide.
We specialize in heirloom varietals of fruits and vegetables that carry the deep flavor and resilience of generations past. Alongside our fields, we raise heritage pigs and chickens on open pasture, where they forage, root, and roam as they were meant to.
Our methods are rooted in respect for the soil of the watershed, the seed, the animals, and the seasons.

From the Pasture
Our heritage pigs are raised on open pasture and butchered into every cut you’d want including, bacon, pork shoulder, chops, ribs, sausage and more. Our hens lay farm-fresh eggs with deep golden yolks, gathered from birds that spend their days foraging outdoors.
From the Field
Depending on the time of year, we grow mixed greens, lettuce, braising greens, kale, collard greens, arugula, tatsoi, cabbage, radish, turnips, carrots, onions, shallots, garlic, basil, dill, cilantro, rosemary, watermelons, tomatoes, squash, pumpkins, broccoli, corn, cucumber, green beans, okra, zucchini, peppers, fresh-cut flowers, and more.
