Not only an opportunity to purchase fresh-picked local seasonal and heirloom produce – rare enough these days! – the farmer’s markets are an opportunity to shake the hand of the farmer that tilled the soil, that planted the seed, that ensured the health and excellence of the plant from soil to harvest.
