CSA Terms and Agreements
In joining the Sleeping Frog Farms’ Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, I understand and agree to the following terms:
Farming is a seasonal and unpredictable undertaking.
Selections and quantities available to me will change as the season progresses.
I understand that produce is available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the farmers market for farm card CSA members. (Traditional CSA members can arrive at any time at market to pick up their weekly shares.) Particularly during lower-production seasons, I understand it is important to arrive early at the farmers market so I can choose from a wide variety of produce.
Fluctuations in production levels are inherent in farming (due to weather, wildlife, pests and other unforeseen forces of nature). As always, Sleeping Frog Farms will act in good faith to provide me with the freshest, highest-quality vegetables possible — however, I understand I am assuming a mutual risk with my farmer, and that I share in the bounty, as well as the risks, of agriculture.
I can sell or transfer ownership of my CSA credit at any point during the season, but there are no refunds.
For farm card members: I have looked closely at the dates of my CSA farm card session, and I understand that my card will expire on the specified date. If I have a remaining balance at the end of my session, I understand that it cannot be carried over into a new CSA session.
Thank you so much for your support of our farm. You are the reason we do what we do.
